End of life Īutodesk has announced that effective June 7, 2026, Autodesk will no longer sell nor support EAGLE. The company was acquired by Autodesk Inc. EAGLE stands for Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor ( German: Einfach Anzuwendender Grafischer Layout-Editor) and is developed by CadSoft Computer GmbH. Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, previously also OS/2 and DOSĦ4-bit (previously also 32-bit and 16-bit) x86 PCsĮnglish, German, Hungarian, Chinese, RussianĮAGLE is a scriptable electronic design automation (EDA) application with schematic capture, printed circuit board (PCB) layout, auto-router and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) features.
